Certificate of Appreciation
On 28 June, Ukraine marks Constitution Day, commemorating the adoption of its Constitution in 1996. More than a legal document, the Constitution embodies the country’s commitment to freedom, democracy, the rule of law, and human dignity. This year, as it marks its 30th anniversary, these principles carry even greater significance as Ukraine continues to defend them in the face of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
To mark the occasion, the Embassy of Ukraine to Switzerland and Liechtenstein hosted a commemorative event in Bern. This year’s celebration honoured not only Ukraine’s Constitution, but also the individuals and organisations whose support has stood with Ukraine throughout the years of war.
We are deeply honoured that Zuerich hilft der Ukraine ZhdU was among those recognised with a Certificate of Appreciation.
For an organisation like ours, this recognition means a great deal. It is both an encouragement to continue our work and a reminder that even modest efforts can make a meaningful difference. At the same time, this honour belongs not only to us, but to everyone who has made our work possible — our volunteers, donors, partners, and supporters. Your trust, generosity, and commitment are the foundation of everything we have achieved together.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Embassy of Ukraine for this distinction and to everyone who continues to stand with Ukraine.
