Fundraiser

Every kit component matters. Every contribution saves lives.

Across Ukraine, medical teams in high-risk regions rely on field blood transfusion kits to stabilize severely injured patients when conventional blood supplies cannot reach them. These kits, developed and assembled by FARMA in Kyiv, contain a donor and a recipient module and are used both in real emergencies and in specialized training for medical personnel.

But many of the kit's critical components cannot be sourced inside Ukraine.

This is where Extra Life steps in.

Extra Life is a collaboration between ZhdU , DUGB , and FARMA .

Our mission is simple:

CHF 50 = One Life Saving Contribution

How it Works

In many frontline areas, blood products are scarce, transport is dangerous, and time is critical. FARMA's kits offer a backup transfusion option when no other lifeline exists and provide essential training that ensures medics are fully ready for real-world emergencies.

Each component we supply helps build a kit that may be the difference between life and death.

  1. You donate in Switzerland.

  2. ZhdU uses the funds to purchase specific kit components that are difficult or impossible to source in Ukraine.

  3. DUGB procures and prepares these medical items for export.

  4. ZhdU organizes and finances transport to Kyiv, where FARMA receives the goods directly.

  5. FARMA assembles complete donor/recipient kits and distributes them to high-risk regions and medical training centers.

This streamlined chain ensures full transparency, efficiency and maximum impact.

Our impact

Extra Life turns a small Swiss contribution into a highly effective intervention at the exact point where it counts most. It is one of the rare humanitarian efforts where a modest donation directly enables a medical procedure that saves a human life.

Thanks to Swiss donors, ZhdU has already contributed essential components used in

1,100 kits

now deployed across Ukraine — from frontline units to emergency medical training centers.
