Order of St Panteleimon
On november 30th 2024, the Zuerich hilft der Ukraine ZhdU team received the Order of St. Panteleimon Award as the Swiss organization that significantly contributed to supporting healthcare in Ukraine. 🏅✨
The Order of St. Panteleimon was established in 2009 by Ukraine’s Ministry of Health to honour prominent individuals for their dedication to healthcare and humanitarian efforts. In 2024, for the first time, the award introduced a category for foreign citizens and organizations.
It is an honour for us to be the first Swiss organization receiving this award. The award event was held at the Embassy of Ukraine in Switzerland which provided us a warm reception.
We believe that it is an award not only for our small team but also for many individuals who have made our mission possible.
Each shipment of medical goods to hospitals in Ukraine involves up to 50 individuals per truck and this unity can be recognized as the modern-day miracle that heals and saves lives. Thank you to everyone who stayed united with us all the way long. This award belongs to all of you. 💛💙
